Snakepaw was hunting. He was creeping up the trail of some prey, but perked his ears when he heard fighting. He followed the sound and saw it. A badger. He growled and leaped at it. "Over here, dung-face!" he shouted. He rushed behind it and gripped his teeth into it's large tail. He used all his strength to yank it. He went in front of it. "Stupid dung-eating piece of crow-food!" he taunted.

Emberpaw hardly recover from shock, because of attack of a badger and sudden arrival of many number of her clan cats. She was happy, that she was not alone in this. "Clan is also for cases similar to these." said she to herself. Then she remembered that she could also helped. Emberpaw thought which move could she used, cause she knew only basic ones.
She slashed at badger´s exposed soft underbelly with her hind legs, when his attention was on other cats.

Emberpaw used Belly rake costing 10 stamina and 7 damage.

Larksong dug her claws into the creature's face, relived to hear the sound of her Clanmates coming to her rescue once more. Hope flared in her chest - perhaps this time they could kill it as she ranked her claws down the creature's face as it howled in pain from all of the attacks. She felt her grip loosen as one of her back paws slipped from the badger's face but before she could pull herself forward to tighten her grip - she let out a yowl of pain. Sharp teeth sank into her leg as sharp, annoying pain overwhelmed her.

Her back paw had landed close enough to the badger's mouth for it to turn its head and grip it and with a mighty tug, she lost her grip. She was yanked from the creature's face, her leg screaming in pain as the badger let go - sending her crashing right into another tree. She collapsed at its base in a daze, her leg bleeding heavily. She groaned, shaking her head as she glanced at her bleeding leg. She...She was going to be stuck in camp again for a while, wasn't she? She sighed before collapsing completely, her whole body aching from hitting the tree.



Smokestripe smiled to himself as he felt his Clanmates rush into help attack the creature - happy that they had heard his yowl...Or at least had scented the foul creature. He got to his back paws, slashing widely at the creature as his Clanmates all batted at the creature only to drop down to all fours when a yowl split the air - Larksong! He watched in terror as the she-cat was yanked from the badger's face and thrown into a tree, collapsing quickly. His gaze flashed over to where the she-cat laid, relived to see that the bleeding was far from what it was like last time. She looked to be in no danger of bleeding out anytime soon - but they still needed to end this fight and get her to Honeydrop...Again.

Larksong's Leap-And-Hold continues. Deals 9 damage and costs 10 stamina. The badger is no longer stunned.

Smokestripe used Rear-Up to Slash. Deals 11 damage and costs 15 stamina.

The badger used Iron Bite on Larksong. Deals 30 damage and costs 20 stamina.

Emberpaw looked suprisily, cause her mentor Larksong was hurted. Now they must kill this beast as fast as it is possible and then bring Larksong to medicine cat.
Emberpaw strike again. She was very angry because of badger´s hit, so she charge at him at full force and almost knock him flying to the ground. Move was also good, because he was not looking at her.

Emberpaw used Run-and-tackle. Deals 6 damage to badger, cause he was not looking at her he is damaged also for 3 damage. So deals 9 damage and costs 10 stamina.

Shadewillow watched with narrowed eyes as more cats rushed into help the patrol, ears falling flat against his skull as the Badger snatched up Larksong and hurled away as if she was nothing more than a mere mouse. He couldn't help but wince at the sound the she-cat's body made when it collided into the solid form of the tree- what was with Larksong and Badgers? "We can't let this pesky one keep attacking our patrols." He reflected grimly, flexing his claws once more as he watched the patrol battle with the striped creature.

Stalking around in a wide arc, Shadewillow was careful to stay out of view from the lumbering, snarling Badger, while also taking care of avoid his Clanmates who were darting around the snapping creature. Dropping low to the ground, he watched as Snakepaw rushed towards the Badger head on- this would suffice for a distraction. Leaping forward, he rushed forwards towards the Badger as quickly as possible, fur bushed out with anger as his face twisted into a snarl. Shadewillow slammed into the Badger's side as hard as he could- so hard that he nearly knocked the wind out of his own chest- and sent the massive creature staggering.


Shadewillow used Run And Tackle, Dealing -8 In Damage (+3 since the Badger was not focused on him), Costing -10 In Stamina.

So many had come in to help at once, StarClan bless them. Just when she thought she might have the upper hand for a moment, she noticed the shape of her friend soaring wounded across the clearing, not for the first time. Her green eyes widened. "Larksong!" She gasped. Ravenclaw gritted her teeth, tired of seeing this thing's ugly face lumbering around. They had to take care of it now. Especially since it was out to get the poor she-cat who was going to be stuck in the medicine den. Again.

Ravenclaw used 'rear-up to slash', costing 15 stamina and dealing 9 damage to the badger.

Marshpaw backed off when he saw the body of Larksong go flying. He stared with fear for several seconds until the badger staggered towards his side. He had left it with at least a few deep scratches to remember him by. He couldn't help but wonder if every patrol was going to be like this, fighting badgers and other beasts. Marshpaw growled, getting his head back into the fight. They had to beat this thing now, for her. He spared a glance towards his sister fighting among the other cats. For Larksong, and Emberpaw he amended. He lunged towards the badger's tail, pulling it fiercely in an attempt to distract and unbalance it so the warriors could finish the job.

Smokestripe watched as the badger, panting and fearing for its life, tried to backtrack to escape only for Marshpaw to dart forward and yank on its tail - stunning it for just long enough. The warriors' eyes glimmered. It was time. He darted forward with a yowl of victory as he tackled the creature his full force, his teeth latching onto the beast's neck. This badger was done terrorizing ShadowClan. The badger had no strength to fight back as Smokestripe killed it. It fell to the ground with a thud, Smokestripe losing his grip as he bounded onto the hard, frozen ground.

Pulling himself to his paws, his breath was heavy as he stared at the blood that oozed from the badger's throat and felt the blood drip down his chin. For a second, his breath stopped. He had done it...He had killed the badger. His gaze scanned over the cats who had come to the rescue of him, Larksong and Emberpaw. None of them seemed hurt and so he let his gaze fall to where Larksong had landed, quickly scurrying over to the fallen she-cat. "Larksong! Are you...?"



"I'm fine," Larksong coughed as she watched Smokestripe hurry over to her. Her side ached from where she had nailed the tree but her leg was in the most pain, warm blood flowing from where the badger's teeth had latched into her limb. Nonetheless, she pulled herself to her paws as she stared at the dead body of the creature that had caused her so much grief before locking eyes with Smokestripe. His eyes were filled with worry but she simply gave him a slight grin. "I'm fine, Smokestripe, truly. I think I can even walk back to ca-" A sharp hiss of pain stopped her right there as she tried to put her weight on her injured leg only to quickly pull it from the ground. She gazed at the bleeding limb before shaking her head.

"Is everybody else alright?" she glanced at the cats who had so bravely come to her rescue. Ravenclaw and her apprentice, Shadewillow, Snakepaw...Even her own apprentice had partaken in the fight. Each of them looked without a scratch and it relieved her, caring much more about her Clanmates safety then her own. She would happily throw herself in front of a badger to protect every single one of them no matter what the cost would mean for her. But finally Larksong's gaze landed on her apprentice, swiftly limping her way over with a worried glint in her eyes. "Are you okay, Emberpaw?" she asked as she reached her young apprentice, knowing that seeing a badger face to face at such a young age must of been terrifying.

Smokestripe used Killing Bite on the badger. It kills the badger and costs 10 stamina.

Seeing badger was now Emberpaw last trouble, because she was worried for mentor. She immediately said to Larksong: " We must return as soon as it is possible, cause you are damaged. This bagder damaged you nasty!" Then she reutrned attention to the badger and asked Smokestripe: "What will we do with badger?" She was not sure, if they could ate badger?

Snakepaw walked over to the badger. He stuck his claws into it and raked it to test it.. "If we leave it here, it could attract dogs or foxes. It's tough, but edible." he reported. He turned to Larksong. "Do you need me to help you to camp? That wound looks bad." he asked.
