Better Late Than Never.... {Closed For 3 Amber Eyes}

Lightningstrike pulled himself onto one of the branches of Highpine, a rather low one actually. He had managed for the first time to leap and catch a bird. it was now buried with the roots and his other catches of his hunt. The cold winter air felt cleaner and more refreshing to him especially when the scent of pine. A soft breeze blew the scent of ShadowClan towards him and made him feel rather nostalgic. He sighed and looked out over at the lower hanging pine trees across the border.

A black sleek furred she cat padded towards the border with a white she cat with cream patches following closely behind. It seemed like the two were just walking about the border mostly. "Amberpaw are we even supposed to be this close to the border won't we get in trouble....or start a fight...I don't want to start a fight we don't want to cause"Hazelpaw mewed.
Amberpaw stopped briefly looking to her sister"we aren't going to start a fight relax we are on our side of the border"she mewed before trailing off as she turned and thought she seen some cat up ahead. So ignoring her sisters complaints she padded closer.

Seeing two apprentices nearing the border, he prepared to get them back to their territory, some apprentices could get the scent marks mixed up, they overlapped anyways. When he got ready to climb down he realized who they were and immediately ran down the trunk of the pine. When he got to the problem, he smiled. "It's nice to see you two!" he meowed happily.

Hazelpaw followed after her sister before she stopped and blinking seeing the warrior. She remembered meeting him at the gathering and smiled."hi again "She new rd cheekily though Amberpaw looked between her sister and the warrior with light amber eyes back to that warrior"hi......who are you?"she mewed voice guarded

He gave Amberpaw a quizzical look until he remembered that the she-cat didn't meet him at the gathering, "I'm your father but, I was exiled before you two were born." he meowed. "Are Littlebrook and Silentpaw doing well? I heard that there was some sickness going around." he said in a concerned voice. He looked at his daughters, wondering if they'd be getting their warrior names soon, he'd want to know right away what they were named.

Amberpaw blinked then smiled some her black tail tip flicked some."Mom and Silentpaw are doing good"She mewed smiling a bit now herself.

Hazelpaw smiled some and nodded."how are you doing?"She asked.
