Family Time [Open, but the following are needed~]

Willowwhisker sat in the nursery with her newest litter of kits, hoping to have a little fun today, and possibly see her other kits from the previous litter. "Hello, little ones. How did you sleep? Maybe we could explore camp today if you wish?" As the kits awoke one by one, Willowwhisker smiled at her kits, wanting nothing more but for them to grow up to be great warriors.    (NOTE: I'm gonna say that the kits already know how to walk ;)~)

Silentkit awoke by his mother's side and looked up at her, still having sleep in his eyes from the cold night."I slept well! How big is camp?"
Looking at his brothers beside him, Silentkit nudged creek kit hard in the shoulder, ready to play and have fun outside of the nursery.

Blackkit got up shakily on his paws, still trying to get the hang of finally being able to walk. He blinked his eyes sleepily, looking up at the large figure of his mother. "Is it going to be cold?" he asked, missing the warmth of snuggling up with his family in the den.

Willowwhisker giggled at the smallest kit of the bunch and replied softly,"Maybe just a little, it is leaf-bare. But you'll get to see the snow, and Maybe your older brothers as well." She looked down upon silentkit, who was pushing creekkit around."Let him rest, Silentkit, he needs the strength just like yo do, he will get up if he wishes. Why dont you and Blackkit play in the nursery where I can see you, that way you dont go where you aren't supposed to. As soon as Creekkit is awake, we will go outside." With that being said, Willowwhisker licked creekkit between the ears to keep him warm.

Cloudpaw ducked into the nursery, his oddly colored eyes observing his new younger siblings with a detached fascination. His already-bulky shoulders caught on the sharp gorse thorns that encased the nursery and he quickly crouched down close to Willowwhisker, watching his mother interact with her newest kits. "What are their names?" He mumbled, ear twitching; his vigorous training regiment kept him from camp from dawn till dusk every day, and he hadn't been able to swing by the nursery since his newest siblings had been born.

Thistlefall followed Cloudpaw, his older son, into the nursery. The older tom had just returned from a patrol, and had a mouse dangling from his jaws, which he planned to offer to Willowwhisker and possibly the kits.

He pushed through the entrance, dropping the mouse at his mates paws. "I see the kits are all already awake." He purred, and nuzzled her forehead in greeting.

Blackkit saw two cats enter the den. The fresh smell that clung to them was overwhelming, smells he would never thought to exist. Underneath it all though was the familiar scent of family. Blackkit looked up at the two cats warily, intimidated by their huge size. He eyed the creature dangling from his father's jaws and he was not sure if he felt repulsed or tempted by it.

Creekkit's nose twitched at the unfamiliar scent of fresh kill. He finally opened his green eyes, yawning and stretching slowly. Gazing over at Willowwhisker as she nudged the mouse toward him and his brothers, he was overwhelmed with the amount of cats in the nursery. He looked on with intrigue as Silentkit tore into it immediately.
Creekkit followed his brother's action and tentatively took a chunk out of the mouse, eyes widening with surprise. "Wow, this is great!" He mewed. The small gray tabby pushed the mouse toward Blackkit with his paw. "Try it!"

Blackkit stared at the fresh-kill Creekkit had nudged towards him, already looking not so fresh with a few, small bites taken out of it. He sniffed it carefully. It smelled like scents clinging to his father and older brother, the smell of outdoors. He licked at an exposed bit of flesh. Then he dug his budding fangs into it and tore out a good chunk, maybe a bit too much for his underdeveloped jaws.
"Wow, you're right." he said to his brother with a mouthful of mouse. "Thanks dad."

Laying in the warrior's sleeping area and thinking through many things, the tom couldn't help but notice some chatter coming from the nursery. Yawning, the dark grey tom stood up and made his way to the den, curious as to what kits had recently been brought into the world. He would've taken a peek earlier but usually after kitting, Queens were grumpy and simply wanted silence and he respected that. Besides, now with kits, the she-cats had a lot on their paws so he couldn't blame them for being a little on edge, especially when it was their first litter.

Walking into the nursery, the deputy smiled when he saw his kits. "Thistlefall, Willowwhisker," gave a nod to his son and daughter and sat down near the edge of the group, not wanting to accidentally step on a kit's tail. It was always a little odd knowing his kits had kits, being siblings, but in the end, they Thistlefall and Willowwhisker were technically not related so why worry?

Looking to the little bundles of fur, the tom let out a purr. "Hello little ones," the soft voiced tom meowed to his grandkits, laying down and tucking his paws under his chest fur. Though as stoic as he might have seemed sometimes, Smokepelt would always have a soft spot for kits, them being so small and innocent.

Cloudpaw nodded as his mother listed off their names, looking down as his younger siblings eagerly tasted their first bites of fresh-kill for the first time, the ever-so distant feeling of affection ringing through him. "Those are good names." He mumbled, scooting aside as Smokepelt squeezed into the den as well and settled down closer to Creekkit, Blackkit, and Silentkit. "It's been hard, but I enjoy it." He simply responded to his mothers question, shrugging his shoulders slightly. Cloudpaw settled down in an awkward half-crouch, making sure that there was a fair amount of space left for his younger siblings to tussle around in, both his blue eye and his green eye trained on the kits. Whenever he was a kit, he never really played with Mintpaw and Shinepaw, so he was relieved to know that the youngest additions to the family were interacting in a some-what normal way.

Blackkit saw the new cat enter the grouse-covered den. So many new cats were coming it, it was almost overwhelming to Blackkit. He had forgotten the mouse almost immediately as he stared at the gray cat's warm amber eyes that were full of experience.
"You're.. big," was all he could say to the visitor. He knew none of the cats would in here would ever try to harm him, yet he couldn't help feel his fur prickle.

Creekkit tilted his head slightly, puzzled. "He is both of your fathers?" He mewed, looking back and forth at Willowwhisker and Thistlefall. He was confused by his parents' situation, but his attention eventually shifted to the rest of the cats in the den.
He noticed Cloudpaw crouching nearby, and jumped up. His whiskers twitched as he looked at his older brother. "You're an apprentice! You're so lucky. I want to start training right now," the kit exclaimed, tail swishing excitedly.

Willowwhisker exchanged a worried look between Thistlefall and Smokepelt, thinking up a way to explain the situation to the young kit."Well, you see, Thistlefall..." Looking into his eyes, she beckoned for him to help explain how the two were 'related' to each other, unable to do so herself. She timidly looked around the nursery to see who else was paying attention, hoping that this wouldn't cause any problems.
