Blacktwig checked on Leopardkit anxiously, making sure he was alright. The poor, defenceless little thing was desperately fighting the cold, and was obviously in distress. I can't take him back, he thought. Leopardkit's mother is not kind if she left her kit out here, in the cold. Blacktwig looked up at Emberheart then, his eyes moving upwards to the ginger she-cat's face smoothly.
