Camp Shenanigans (OPEN)

Thistlefall sat peacefully by the freshkill pile, nibbling on a rather scrawny mouse, the most appetizing thing that sat atop the pile. He huffed, and took another bite, knowing he'd need the energy the prey provided for patrols and such later in the day. The young warrior looked up from his meal, and observed the camp, watching as cats stirred about, either leaving the camp all together or just sitting around, chatting, doing whatever to pass the time in the chilly clearing.

Prancing over to Thistlefall, her adopted big brother, Kindlekit let out a meow of greeting. "Hello!" the kit squeaked, greeting the warrior by happily nudging her head against his chest fur. Although he wasn't directly related to Smokepelt, Kindlekit would always think of him like she would for any other littermate.

The tom had struggled to wake up that morning. It was the day after a long patrol and his body was worn out and sore, but Crowpaw had to get used to mornings like these anyway. Since he was now an apprentice he had to prepare himself for long nights and early chilly mornings. Shaking his pelt he had headed out towards the main part of camp for something to eat. The black tom was surprised when he saw another kit loose in the camp, he let out a small chuckle it reminded him of the days when he was like her. He flicked his tail towards Thistlefall as a greeting, "Good morning." He mewed gently his voice being a little raspy turning towards the little one he let out a purr. "Good morning! Little one~" He turned to grab a small mouse to eat.

Thistlefall smiled as Kindlekit came prancing over, soon followed by Furzekit, the two seemed to stick together like glue, he never saw one without the other. "Hello there," he smiled, the turned his head at more paw steps, nodding a greeting toward Crowpaw, of whom he didn't know personally, perhaps this would be a good chance to get to know the other tom better.

"Morning," he said in return, dipping his head slightly out of courtesy. "Chilly isn't it?" He observed, his eyes still adjusting to the bright light the snow reflected from the early sun.

Furzekit had seen Kindlekit leave the nursery again, she was always up and moving around, and really, he didn't want to see her off on her own. So, the tom-kit got to his paws, and briskly followed after his litter mate, watching as she headed towards Thistlefall, their fathers adopted son.

"Hi Thistlefall, Kindlekit and Crowpaw!" Duskstorm greeted. It was good to know the other cats around camp. "Whatcha' doin?" he asked curiously.

Walking out of the nursery to get some fresh-kill, Willowwhisker spotted her mate eating a mouse. Her swollen belly swinging underneath her, she sat nearby him with a sparrow and began to eat the skinny little bird."Hello Thistlefall. How are you doing?" Despite the cold weather, Smokepelts kits were out and about exploring camp. They were such cute little balls of fluff."Hello Kindlekit, Furzekit, Crowpaw, Duskstorm." With a nod of her head, Willowwhisker began eating again.

Brindlewhisker watched as Smokepelt's two new kits began to interact with several different cats around the camp, already feeling fond of her young kin. Rising sleeping to her paws, she padded over to Thistlefall, Duskstorm, Crowpaw, Willowwhisker and the kits, twitching her ear in greeting as she gazed at the kits. "Hello little ones! How are you enjoying camp so far?"  Brindlewhisker purred, settled down in front of the two young kits, eyes warm.

Cloudpaw was laying a few steps away from the group, watching his parents interact with the two youngest members of the clan with his mismatched eyes showing their usual ambivalence. His ear flicked, watching the two young kits with amusement as he lay dozing in the weak sunlight.

Letting out a happy meow when Furzekit came over, Kindlekit put her front paws on her littermate's back and nibbled on his ear in a playful way. She loved having him around and always knew he would most likely follow her since she was always out and about. Turning to an apprentice, she simply smiled at him before her attention turned to some more warriors. She gave a dip of her head to Willowwhisker, another one of her adopted sisters but didn't really have a clue as to who the other tom was, having still been learning everyone's names, so she gave him a simple smile.

Upon seeing Brindlewhisker whom her father had told her about, Kindlekit pranced over to the warrior, letting out a happy mew. "It's been great!" she exclaimed, glad that her father was allowing her and Furzekit to explore more.
