Leafbare's undying curse [closed]

Sitting in the camp clearing, Mudfoot sneezed. The camp was lined with a thin blanket of snow and although the tom had a thicker pelt than some, sitting under the evening sky for a while still sent shivers up his spine. Looking around, the warrior wondered if anyone wanted to join him, seeing that the clan could use some more prey.

As much as Ravenpaw would have loved to sit around and wait for her mentor, she hadn't the clue of where Waspstep was or was he was doing, and was dying to get out of camp. It was with little words that she stepped up to Mudfoot, flicking ears. "Are you going somewhere?" she asked stubbornly under her breath.

OOC: I edited the title and now this patrol is just for us two so we can knock it out faster. I will make another topic for Crys is she still needs/wants it.

IC: Looking to Ravenpaw, Mudfoot gave a simple nod. It didn't seem like he was on best terms with the apprentice but then again, was she ever on good terms with anyone? Maybe it was just her nature to not be the most warmhearted of cats. "Yes, I was just about go," he started, standing up. "I don't think anyone else will be coming, how about we get going?" the warrior meowed with a smile, not minding if she came along, no matter how unhappy she may have been.

Ravenpaw frowned, darting her eyes away once more. What was he smiling about? The stupid, mouse-brained tom. If she had to pick someone to go on a patrol on, just the two of them alone, then Mudfoot of all cats would definitely be one of her last choices. She wasn't one who let go of grudges lightly; not matter how serious or how petty it may have seemed. "If you say so," she wasn't the Mr. Know-it-all warrior between them. The she-cat flicked her tail and headed towards the exit, although she knew she should have waited for him.

Well, this was going to be an interesting patrol.

Trotting after Ravenpaw, the warrior soon walked next to her as the two headed into the forest. "So, where shall we go first?" the tom asked, giving the apprentice some responsibility over the patrol, for what apprentice just wanted to follow around a warrior without a say in where or what they did?

Like she was going to fall for that trap again. The apprentice wrinkled her nose, getting a bad taste in her mouth. "I don't know," She muttered under her breath. "You're the warrior here. You know best." The she-cat wasn't quite in the mood for getting yelled at again.

Wishing Ravenpaw wasn't so down in the dumps all the time, Mudfoot let out a small sigh, padding through the dense wooded forest. "I guess we'll head to the Thunderpath first," he meowed and slightly changed direction so they headed towards the path. "After that let's patrol Highpine," the tom added, looking to the apprentice, wondering if she had any objections.
