Amberkit and Hazelkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Jumping up to the Jaggedrock once more, Mudfoot stood before the buzzing camp. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" he yowled under the night sky.

Hazelkit hearing the call smiled excitedly and scampered from the nursery. After getting better from whatever sickness has taken to some of the clan members the kit was felling better and eager about what was to happen now. Her cream and white tail flicked as she padded to the front of the gathering crowd and sat down.

A black kit with a single ginger streak above her nose smiled confidently as she padded from the nursery After her sister.Amberkit smiled and came over dusting down next to her sister.

"Tonight we gather to make these kits apprentices," Mudfoot meowed as the clan gathered. "Amberkit, Hazelkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you, will be known as Amberpaw and Hazelpaw. Waspstep will be both of your mentors. May he teach you everything that he knows." With a nod and a smile towards the newly named apprentice and his son, the warrior jumped down from the rock, proud to have a loyal kit and watch the clan grow. It wasn't very often that kits were given the same mentor, but seeing how close the two were and knowing that the tom could handle them, he knew it was the right choice.
