Petalpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Ivyfall called from the willow branch, looking out onto the gathering where all the apprentices and warriors were roaming throughout.

Trotting up to Fishstar, Petalpaw sat down near the front of the gathering crowd. Was this her big day?

OOC: Petalbreeze please.

"Petalpaw, please step forward." Ivyfall meowed.

Stepping forward, Petalpaw held her head high and looked to Fishstar. This was really it! She was going to get her warrior name!

"I, Ivyfall, deputy of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Petalpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" The question was a solemn one that the deputy knew would have to be answered honestly. This was the end of her apprenticehood and the beginning of a new dawn.

"I do," the cream tabby meowed with a smile upon her muzzle.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Petalpaw, from this day forth you shall be known as Petalbreeze. RiverClan honours your kindness and optimism." Ivyfall finished speaking those sacred words with a nod, before she continued. "Your vigil will begin at Sundown, let us all celebrate our new warrior for now, however. May StarClan light your path."

Listening to the chants of her clan-mates, the newly named Petalbreeze sat up proudly, beaming with happiness.
