Copperkit and Ravenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture... their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Ravenkit had spent all day grooming her fur, bragging to her denmates, bragging especially to her brothers, and psyching herself out for this moment. Once she heard her leader's called, she fluffed up and stepped out into the clearing, holding her head up high.

Copperkit followed his denmate out of the nursery. He was excited that he was finally going to become an apprentice of ShadowClan. "Are you ready for this?" He asked Ravenkit

She turned her head to look at Copperkit. "Of course," she purred at him.

"Tonight we gather to make these two kits apprentices," Thrushstar said as the cats gathered. "Ravenkit and... Copperkit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you... will be known as Ravenpaw and Copperpaw. Your mentors will be Waspstep and Littlebrook respectively. May they... teach you everything that they know." It was good to see the clan growing. With a small twinkle in his eye, the leader leaped down to congratulate the new apprentices.

Copperpaw dipped his head towards Thrushstar thankful that he was finally able to be an apprentice of the clan. Then he walked towards Littlebrook and touched noses with him/her. "What are we going to do first?" He asked as he was already eager to begin training.
