| Lionpaw yelped in pain as Rowanpaw's claws slashed across her cheek as she was forced back. She drew backwards, her breath coming in pants as she studied the tom and looked for her next opening. But in those few moment as she stood back she came to realize how much she hurt - blood dripping from each of the wounds that Rowanpaw had given her. Her eyes narrowed for a few seconds as she let out a hiss, but then her whole body relaxed as she shook her head, her tail falling limp in defeat. "You...Win," she muttered as she drew back toward her territory, but stayed within sight and earshot of the tom to see if he had any words of victory he wanted to gloat with.

| Lionpaw stared after the tom, her mouth half-open in shock at his simple words. She took a deep breath as she dug her claws into the ground, ready to shout after the tom but all effort behind the words died even before it reached her tongue. She sighed before wincing in pain as the SkyClan apprentice disappeared into his own territory. "I'm...Sorry," she muttered before she turned tail and darted toward the ThunderClan camp - hoping that Bramblefrost and Dreamleaf wouldn't chew her out for her stupidity. Not that she would ever learn from this mistake.
