Shattered Petals (CLOSED)

What fun the day had been. Giving her front legs a stretch, Petalpaw clawed the earth bellow her. "This was fun," she meowed with a smile, glad to be accompanied by Shatteredpaw. Unfortunately, as much fun as she wanted to have, they probably should start heading back so that their little excursion wasn't discovered. "I'd say this adventure was a success, how about we head back before any warrior catches us?" the cream tabby commented, flicking her tail back and forth. Today she'd done what she never thought she'd do and hoped that they'd be able to spend more time together.

Shatteredpaw looked up from his daze of staring off at the water below. As much as he hated to admit it, they should get back to camp, just as Petalpaw had suggested.

The apprentice put on a smile, and padded up to her. "I agree, knowing you, you'd hate to get caught." He purred in a joking tone. He padded past her, his pelt lightly brushing hers as he began to lead the way back to their camp.

Giggling at his comment, Petalpaw followed Shatteredpaw and soon the two apprentice's walked side by side. "This was fun," she started with a smile, looking into his eyes. "I hope we can do this again."

Shatteredpaw nodded, a smile crossing his muzzle once again. "Yeah, when we're warriors, we can go outside camp all the time." He said, a small wave of excitement rolling through him at the mention of being free.
