Darkkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Leopardfang jumped atop the Jaggedrock, tail waving behind him. Thrushstar was recovering, but had had a minor bout of sickness to confine him to his den. They were over the worst of it. The weary deputy looked over the peaceful camp before calling out the familiar call. "Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey join here beneath the Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!"

Darkkit padded out of the den hearing Leopardfang's yowl. Where is the leader? She thought as walked over to the Jaggedrock.

Nightwatcher's ears twitched as her name was called. It was not much of a surprise to the warrior that she was to be a mentor. Since she had gone on the journey for StarClan, she had a lot to pass on to the younger cats of her clan. A purr of excitement rumbled in her throat. Nightwatcher then strode over to her charge and touched noses. "Get some rest and meet your denmates, we will train once you are ready." With that, she nodded her head in the direction of the other apprentices, urging the young cat onward.
