Eaglekit's Apprentice Ceremony

It had only been a sunrise since Squirrelpaw and Leafpaw had been apprenticed, now it was time for one of their littermates, Eaglekit, to have the spotlight.
"Let all cats old enough to climb a tree gather beneath the Tallbranch for a Clan meeting!" Vixenheart called out.

Eaglekit strode proudly out of the nursery and took his place underneath the Tallbranch. The fact his littermates had been apprenticed didn't bother him. He knew there had to be a reason, and he didn't have to wait much longer anyways. Now, it was his time to move up in clan ranks.

"Eaglekit, please step forwards," Vixenheart began, once Eaglekit had arrived. Once the kit had stepped forwards, she continued on, "Eaglekit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this moment forwards, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Eaglepaw. Your mentor will be Moonlight. I trust that she will pass down all of her skills to you."
When the cheering began for Eaglepaw, the newly-appointed apprentice, Vixenheart leaped off of the Tallbranch and ended the ceremony.
