| Squirrelkit was always very vocal, always loving to yowl into the sunrise, not caring if she woke anyone. But in a battle, someone would attack her, causing wounds to her throat. She would survive, but would never speak again,would have trouble swallowing, and would have Brightheart-level scars. She would need someone to comfort her, make her feel like a part of clan life even without a voice, and potentially become mates. They would have to be able to see past her disability and at the beauty she really is.
Attackers (Shadowclan))
Hawkpaw (the one who messes up her throat)

I decided to look for a mate in the Parent and Mate finder. Halfpaw would be her mate ______________________________________ ~ WCC's resident lizard person ~ and holder of the Magical Name-Changing Wand, which is currently under a curse done by an evil witch which makes it do nothing but make an explosion of rainbows.

| Nightheart can fight with her and maybe try to comfort her somehow, though she wouldn't be able to become mates for obvious reasons. If you prefer that only the future mate comforts her then she'll just be in the patrol that will fight at her side.
Also I can offer Owlstrike from ShadowClan. He is trying to act nice lately because of the leader's suspicion, but past that mask he is a cat that constantly is looking for fights and is also terribly cruel in battle. He even already intentionally killed another cat in his past and feels proud about it. He doesn’t needs to be the one hurting Squirrelkit, but he wouldn’t think it twice before attacking a kit if she manages to get on his bad side (If you plan to have this fight before her apprentice ceremony). If he isn’t the one hurting her, he can surely be the one starting the battle. ______________________________________ Stormkit
