Another One (Closed for Thinny Thin-Thin and Melissa Erin)

Blacktwig had noticed that his mate's belly had been getting bigger once again. It was confusing, but he knew that from the way she still affectionately talked to him that they were his. He wouldn't be getting caught this time. He rested beside the border between ThunderClan and SkyClan - it was just a little stop, before they would move along. He groomed his mate's ears, it would give them some time to rest before the kits were born. He never knew he would sire so many kits in his entire life!

However, he was glad that his mate was Emberfall. Of all the other cats, one this beautiful was his mate. He was quite lucky. He groomed her ears and flank, resting subtly with the wind blowing his fur.

Emberfall began to feel pain as Blacktwig groomed her, it was from the kits. She hissed quietly and looked at Blacktwig, he knew what to do right? She quickly grabbed a stick and began to push, remembering the words of Cloverpool when she had given birth to her recent kits Mottledpaw, Mothkit, Flamepaw, and Auburnpaw. Now she would have five in all. She pushed as hard as she could, she felt a bundle of fur then push out and the pain slowly faded, she looked back at the kit, a smile grew on her face as she looked at the yellowish-ginger pelt clumped together. She grabbed the kit and nudged the small she-kit over to her stomach for warmth and milk. She looked back up at Blacktwig once again "What should her name be?" she asked.

Blacktwig rushed around, searching for anything to assist Emberfall with the birth. Finally, he found a small stick, but by the time he brought it over, it was all done. He bent down by her tail and nipped the sac. He gazed at the soon-to-be-named Yellowkit lovingly. "Yellowkit?" He asked with a purr, wondering if Emberfall liked the name as much as he did.

Emberfall nodded "Yellowkit sounds very good" she purred.

"Then, Yellowkit it is," Blacktwig purred, nuzzling his mate. He curled his tail around her calmly. "You'll make a wonderful mother to this kit, just like you did Auburnpaw and Flamepaw," he whispered gently in her ear, his scent wreathing around him. "Can we stay here, and just, be with each other?" Blacktwig asked the calico she-cat innocently.

Emberfall nodded "Sure, why would I not?" she mewed as she purred again, happily.

Blacktwig grinned, then backed up with a crouch. He then pounced onto Emberfall, giving her a joyous look before licking her forehead, then ended up touching noses with the she-cat, laying on top of her. He giggled faintly.
