A Black Moth's Wing (Closed Bonding Time for Cloverpool)

"Oh, you may be," Blacktwig teased, rearing up and putting most of his weight on his left leg, easing his injured right one. "But, the thing is, I have nine lives!" He laughed maliciously.

Mothkit laughed. "Then I Mothstrike will have to defeat you in a battle to the death!!" She meowed.

"I dare you." Blacktwig hissed, backing away with his claws unsheathed. It even looked like he was actually going to fight, a scowl on his face, even though it was all fake. He leapt into the air, sheathing his claws again, and lightly batted Mothkit on the head. "Hah!" He exclaimed in triumph, yet afterwards he let out a quiet wheeze in response to the pain searing through his leg.

Mothkit pretended to stumble back and let out a fake ahh!! She smirked then darted behind her father and took off into a bush and waited until he walked by to jump on his back, claws sheathed of course.

Blacktwig prowled around, eyes scanning the bush for his daughter. He was truly stumped as to where her location lie. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" He called feign tauntingly, bending down to peek underneath the underbrush and foliage that lined where they were play-fighting.

Mothkit jumped landing on her father's back.

Blacktwig squealed in surprise, like a little kit when his daughter leapt onto his back, pinning him down. He struggled and gaze up at her. "You win," he sighed admiringly, letting go of his fears that something had taken his daughter. She sure had the element of surprise.

Mothkit purred, and jumped off her dad. "Yay!! I win!!"

Blacktwig smirked, then shuffled down, crouching, and rested on the ground calmly. "Yep," he yawned, interested by his daughter's excitement at such a late time.

Mothkit purred. "What now dad?" She asked.

"Are you tired? I am," Blacktwig giggled, his eyelids drooping slightly with fatigue. He yawned once more, then glanced at his daughter. "I'm sure I can sleep in the nursery with you for at least one night - it wouldn't hurt." He mewed.

Mothkit purred and nodded, yawning as she led the way to her nest in the nursery.

Blacktwig followed her sleepily, blinking his violet-blue gaze.
