Shadekit and Fallenkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather underneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!" Smokepelt meowed, standing on the rock and waiting for cats to gather bellow.

Emberfall padded out of the warriors' den and looked up at Smokepelt, she waited for the deputy to start the ceremony, or announcement, most days it would have to be a ceremony anyways.

Shadekit happly came out of the Windclan nursery at the sound of Smokepelt's call. She gave her fur a quick lick to make her charcoal grey fur look glossy and shiny. She looked behind her to see if Fallenkit was following her. This ceremony would mark the start their real journey as a WindClan cat.

Fallenkit padded out of the nursery, right behind shadekit as she did so.

Looking down at the two kits, Smokepelt decided to continue. "Tonight we gather to make these kits apprentices. Shadekit, you will be know as Shadepaw. Fallenkit, you will be know as Fallenpaw. Your mentors will be Emberfall and Nightheart. I know they will teach you everything they know about clan life and the Warrior Code," the Deputy finished and jumped off the Tallrock.

Emberfall touched her nose to Shadepaw and smiled "Training will start tomorrow" she mewed.

Shadepaw touched noses with the ginger colored she-cat and said with a soft purr rumbling through her chest "Great, sounds good."

Nightheart, who had been listening to the whole ceremony from a shady spot near the warrior’s den while taking a small break from her warrior duties, smiled and quickly got up, padding towards the newly named apprentices and touching noses with Fallenpaw “I promise to do my best to train you”.
