The Lightining and the Blaze that comes after it (OPEN)

A light gray kit with paleish yellow eyes raced out of the nursery another tom with dark gray on his head and all along his back with everything else white, even the back of his neck with darker yellow eyes raced after him. Lightningkit, the paler tom, ran away from his younger twin brother, of course they weren't identical but that didn't matter. He stopped and dove into the gorse entrance only for his brother to go past it then stop and look for him. Lightningkit tackled his brother and sent him sprawling.

Blazekit, the darker, younger tom, hissed and flung his brother off and tackled him. They play wrestled for a bit until they heard paw steps coming towards them. They then sat up and looked towards the sound of paw steps.

"Hey there!" Mosswing purred, padding up to the two rowdy kits. "Having fun there?" She recalled her own times as a kit, when she used to sneak out of camp - though never more than a few foxlengths out! It didn't seem like so long ago, and she still had that feisty spirit inside her.

Lightningkit's eyes lit up as a warrior talked to him. "Hi! I'm Lightningkit and this is my brother Blazekit!! Are you a warrior??" The tom asked excitedly.

Blazekit was about to say his name when his brother said it for him. "Wow! A Warrior!! How cool!!"

"Barely! I just had my ceremony a few days ago," Mosswing laughed. "I'm Mosswing," she introduced herself, smiling at the kits. They reminded her of herself, in a way.

A red kit skidded to a stop beside Mosswing, her dusty eyes wide and happy, hints of amber and yellow shining through.
``Hey, guys!`` she chirped, her russet and gold fur wavering in the breeze. ``Watcha doing?``
Emberkit grinned at the two toms before her, her fluffy tail held straight up in the air.

Lightningkit purred. "That's still cool though." He meowed and smiled as a she cat came over.

Blazekit nodded in agreement.

Emberkit blinked, her tailtip waving. ``Oh!`` she leapt over to the twins and scrutinized Mosswing, kneading her paws into the sand beneath them.
``She…`` the kit's mouth dropped. ``You're the warrior, right!? I remember your ceremony!`` she cried, eyes sparkling with excitement.
Ember, proud of herself, sat back down in the sand, which billowed in small yellow clouds around her.

Mosswing smiled. "Glad to hear it!"
She enjoyed being with kits, she discovered. "You'll be warriors soon, one day. Big and strong ones, too!"

At this, the russet and gold kit licked her ruffled white chest proudly.
``I know. Imma even b—`` she was cut off as a queen called to her from across the camp. ``Oh well. I'm hungry anyway.``
Her nose twitched slightly. ``See you later, guys!`` Emberkit flicked her ears towards the other twin toms, wobbling on her two hind legs to lick Mosswing's shoulder respectively, before falling back to the ground with a small puff of sand, and bouncing off back towards the nursery.

Lightningkit and Blazekit blinked and watched the she kit bound off then turned to the warrior.
