Hunting (closed hunting patrol for dewberries)

Pinefur yawned in the morning mist. He sighed and padded over to the apprentices den. He leaned in "Smokepaw! we're going hunting." He called. He sat outside watching the clouds. Everything seemed so different with out his siblings, his parents and Aquapaw. He missed her. He looked at his paws then back at the apprentices den.

Smokepaw was asleep but when he heard his name and 'hunting' he shot right out of the apprentices den. "I'm ready!" He said, bouncing in excitement and his facial expression was determined.

Pinefur smiled. "I see you're very determined to start." He said. He turned and he started sprinting out of the camp, he flicked his tail for Smokepaw to follow. Once he was out of sight of the entrance he skidded to a stop. He smiled and his eyes shined. It felt like so long since he was out of the camp.i think I picked the perfect day for hunting! he thought. It wasn't too warm and it wasn't windy, perfect for a nice hunt.
