Let's get things back in order (After the Gathering for WindClan, IMPORTANT)

Heatherpaw narrowed her eyes at Smokepelt. "Of course I am. WindClan is my home. What my mother did does not matter - I'm not her, nor do I want to be." While he hadn't explicitly stated that he didn't trust her because of Saltpelt, Heatherpaw felt it was implied. She knew she would always be loyal to WindClan, but she knew with a sinking feeling that others had their doubts.

Nightpaw had been watching the whole time, not daring to make a single sound as the discussion about Kestrelstorm’s exile carried on, not sure of what she was supposed to say or if she was even supposed to try to defend him in any way, after all, Kestrelstorm was her half-brother.

Then again, he had brought this upon himself all on his own, every clan cat of the forest knew the consequences that breaking the code could bring upon them, and even if the reason behind his actions were naïve and guided by emotions while he was younger he couldn’t expect to just come back to the clan he had betrayed and then abandoned and be received like if nothing had ever happened.

The dark apprentice lowered her head at his words as he exited camp, her troubled gaze turning into a frown “We need strong warriors, yes, but what good would do a strong warrior that also make younger cats think that they can betray the clan and then just get away with it? What would become of WindClan if our future warriors decided to follow your example thinking that there would be no consequences in store for them?” She hissed, barely loud enough for the ones around her to hear. Saying what she thought instead of keeping it for herself had proven to be risky in the past, thing proved by the four long scars over her eye that Cedarfur, his own father, had left as a permanent reminder of when she dared to talk against the Dark Forest back in their reign, but she couldn’t just watch something like this happen and keep her mouth shut.

Her attention then shifted to Heaterpaw, Saltpelt’s kit, but if she ever thought to say a thing she decided to wait as soon as Smokepelt beat her to it, listening to the kit’s response to the questioning of the deputy. She couldn’t help but look away while lashing her tail, even if Heatherpaw wasn’t Saltpelt herself, she still reminded her of the traitor that had tried to steal Ashwing’s rightful place as the leader of WindClan. It was true that she has Nightpaw’s cousin, but even with the family ties she still couldn’t fully trust her.
