I Don't Need 'You', I Need Anyone (OPEN)

Mouse was slouched with boredom on a branch poking over the two-leg den's fence. Her yellow eyes were half closed as she scanned the ground before her, feeling uneasy and lonely. Since Raven's death, she had been sitting perched on the branch, guarding her tomb. It was terrible to be alone. She hadn't known how it was to be alone until she had encountered Night in her garden, but the feeling just got worse after she had met the mad she-cat that had died of hunger not long ago.

Mouse stifled a sigh and got up, stretching her huge, fluffy body and liking her chest-fur casually before dropping on the other side of the fence, taking in the fresh scent of coming leaf-fall. Maybe that will take her mind of all of those troubles. But she couldn't help but be anxious about whether she'll end mad as well.
