Fawnkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Crowstar jumped onto the tall branch and called out to his clan. "Let all cats old enough to climb trees gather here for a clan meeting!"

Fawnkit padded out of the nursery trying lick down a few patches of fur straying from her almost perfectly groomed pelt. She knew this would be her apprentice ceremony and she was nearly bouncing with excitement. She got to tall branch and sat down, stilling her shuffling paws and looked up at Crowstar happily.

"Today we are gathered to make a kit into an apprentice. Fawnkit please step forward." The leader said.

Fawnkit stepped forward, tail tip twitching in excitement and nervousness.

"Fawnkit from this moment on, until you earn your warrior name, you will be known as Fawnpaw. Pineeye will be your mentor." The leader said then jumped down to end the ceremony.

Fawnpaws ears flicked giddily as she heard her new name. She padded up to Pineeye and reached her nose up to touch noses with him.
