The Heat of Black Embers (Open for Thinny Thin-Thin)

Emberpaw smiled as she did hear a tiny bit of the last part. She blushed, not focusing on her feet and going too close to the Thunderpath. She turned over and slipped on a stony part of the Thunderpath, pushing her to the middle of the Thunderpath, straight where a monster was coming "Oh..." she looked up, horrified as she saw a monster pass right by her, more came, blocking her from Blackpaw.

Blackpaw quickly grabbed her scruff and placed her gently on the grassy ground beside the Thunderpath, as a monster roared past quickly.

Emberpaw laughed "Well I didn't get run over" she purred, fitting her personality quite well. She felt like Blackpaw really did like her, I mean not just because of the saving but how fast he did it. Not instantly though. She looked at him, smiling once more. She felt a cold breeze, blowing her calico hair as she looked towards the direction, she already knew who would win the race anyway, probably close to her or him, she was WindClan for one reason.

"Nope," Blackpaw purred, panting slightly. He sat down, licking a forepaw and drawing it over his face slowly. He yawned for a while. He felt like he could stay with this she-cat forever. He smiled, catching his breath swiftly before curling up in the soft grass, which blew in the wind calmly. Fluffy white clouds strayed above his speckled head, ears perked happily. He sighed gaily.

Emberpaw laughed and rubbed against him, slowly over the time they had hung out with each other the clouds had grown darker and the winds blew a tiny bit harder, she frowned as she felt a drop of rain. She knew they would still hang out but she didn't like to get too dirty if she went in the mud. She laid down, not minding the mud anyway, she really just wanted to stay and talk to Blackpaw.

Blackpaw pressed his nose against hers, enjoying the moment. The soft rumble of thunder and the shadow that spanned across the Thunderpath didn't seem to mind Blackpaw. He let out a faint yawn, trading a joyful glance with Emberpaw. "In ThunderClan, we get rain a lot," he explained, tail flicking tiredly. He leaned against Emberpaw, ear-tip touching hers, as he let out a hearty chuckle. "But, ya know, I'm not a RiverClan cat!" He exclaimed, happiness to be with Emberpaw overtaking his fatigue.

Emberpaw smiled and laughed "Makes some sense" she mewed winking her eye, telling him that the Clan name made it obvious.

Blackpaw smiled. "Yep," he mewed, staring at the raindrops that subtly fell from the cloudy sky. "It sure does." Blackpaw's breathing was calm and timed.

Emberpaw pawed his muzzle a smirk on her face as she quietly giggled "What is it like in ThunderClan?" she asked, her whiskers twitching from a small raindrop splitting and hitting both.

"Well," Blackpaw began, shaking out his rain-covered pelt. "For one, there's sure a lot of trees." Blackpaw's ear flicked with amusement, and the way his eyes gleamed was not unusual for an adventurous apprentice.

OOC: He sounds like Leafyishere due to me trying to voice act him... I guess that's his voice now

Emberpaw a laughed "Oh yes, they're sure are trees" she mewed, winking happily as she licked Blackpaw's cheek.

"You saw," Blackpaw purred, laughing.

Emberpaw rolled her eyes, her fur washing her back down onto the muddy ground. She moved her muzzle around, feeling a weird stiffing feeling in it as she smiled once more at Blackpaw.

Blackpaw looked up, clouds trickling about in swaths of smokey grey waves. His ears flicked as he glanced towards Emberpaw, holding the light of the sun in his eyes that still beamed with emotion. He rested his speckled muzzle upon her head, inhaling slightly. "Well this has been rather interesting," he murmured at last, taking a much different, calm approach to this than his mainly energetic, sarcastic and sometimes crude personality. The tom seemed so serene, fur flattened and plastered by his sides tightly by the rain.

Emberpaw smiled and purred, she licked his neck and looked at him for a long moment "I'll see you later" she mewed, rubbing on him one last time and heading off to her territory, looking back with a large smile.
