Creekkit explores

Creekkit stumbled out of the nursery nervously, "Wow..." he mused happily. A yowl sounded from behind him, "Hey, back in here!" the ginger queen growled. He ran back inside excitedly knowing what it was like out there.

"Hey, bud!" Amberkit meowed exitedly as she came uipon the new kit. Pinekit, her sibling, followed her grimly and nodded a greeting at the stranger.

Blackpaw walked past the three kits. "Oh, hello!" He meowed in greeting, with a smile plastered on his maw, that was seldom present. He wreathed his tail over his paws. "Are you little ones the new kits?" He asked, voice flowing like smooth honey. His gaze flickered with tenderness. "I'm Blackpaw." The small black apprentice dipped his head. "Nice to meet you."

Mosskit padded up to the three kits and the apprentice. "What'cha doing, guys?"
Her eyes flicked between Blackpaw and Pinekit and Amberkit, before her gaze settled into a skeptical one of Blackpaw's smooth voice. She rolled her eyes at the apprentice. "And I'm sure it's great to meet you too."

She didn't quite trust this apprentice, no.

Another apprentice joined in, he hadn't been a apprentice as long as Blackpaw but he planned to still act like a responsible apprentice. Pebblepaw slipped from the apprentices' den to get some fresh-kill. He turned his head to see a group of one apprentice and three kits. He sighed, grabbing a recently killed vole and laying it down, he began eating. His breakfast was usually fast so most would see it gone not too long before he started it.

He stood up after finishing the mouse, he sat down, grooming his fur very quickly before looking at Blackpaw, he looked at the nursery, frowning. It was a little fun being in there but it was pretty crowded, he could grow without his parents, well right now. He felt a surge of sadness go through him as he imaged himself alone with no mate. He shook the thought out of his head and stood up after a short groom that he took his time with almost each morning, trying to be the cleanest cat he could.


Padding up and looking over all the three kits he had a straight face for a long minute. He turned to Blackpaw, almost seeing no height difference from how much his little kit body had grown before his recent apprenticeship. He knew that one of them were gonna have an idea that lead to getting in trouble, he just knew it from the personality of all kits. Som- actually it was pretty rare for a kit to be like him when he was born, he really didn't want to get in trouble. But he was pretty intellagance, so he knew when it was good to take a break from being a non-troubling kit. He spoke, thinking of something they would like "Uh...Hey?" he mewed "I'm an apprentice as well" he mewed, hearing the introduction of Blackpaw not too long ago. He knew he hadn't said his name to any of the kits and apprentice, but he wasn't sure Blackpaw knew him a tiny bit, its not like you couldn't notice him in the nursery either. He thought something very quickly to add to his small introduction to the new kits "I'm Pebblepaw if your wondering, I was just apprenticed not too long ago" he purred a smile on his sweet face, spreading ago his small muzzle. He felt like he was bragging about being an apprentice so much so he just felt like not talking for a short while.

"Don't get too cocky there, Pebblepaw." Mosskit laughed, and snuck in a wink - a signal to Pebblepaw to remind him of their adventure into the ThunderClan territory when he was a kit.

Amberkit smiled and Pinekit's eyes darkened with displeasure. "Peeblepaw, nice to see you!" she greeted him and purred. "Yeah..." muttered Pinekit.

Blackpaw seemed a bit taken aback due to their skeptical tone towards him, and their ever-so-kind one towards Pebblepaw. Blackpaw's gaze flared with envy a bit, yet at the thought that he just barged in a bit, he understood their hostility. Yet he found it rather amusing that the kits might think that they would defeat him in battle one day. He swiftly allowed kindliness to consume his dark thoughts, however, it wasn't very noble to think of this.
