Just want to help out

Night padded into the exiles camp. He carried a bluejay. He wanted to tell them where to find some. A twoleg has a tray full of bird seeds. 5 come a day. They are hard to catch. One spots them, and most fly away. It's worth it. Some are so plump. He didn't expect them to trust him. To gain at least a speck of trust, he set down the bird. "I come alone, and with no intention to help." he said. At least they know he doesn't want to fight. Otherwise, he wouldn't bring prey and speak. He waited for what would happen.
