OK...I was bored....so I'll tell you guys about my 4 days at an overnight orchestra camp.
So the camp was held in Emory University, which has AWESOME facilities. 2 peeps per dorm, a huge dining place, clean showers and bathrooms, nice views, and more. I got put into a dorm with my BFF, so it made the camp even more fun. The only complaint I had was that the seating was totally unfair. The judges were not hidden, so they could see the students. So the teachers put the people who took lessons with them infront. :( I'm really good, but I got stuck in the second row, behind peeps who didnt even know how to do third position......
So on the first day, we watched the World Cup, and it was EPIC. There were 23 Spanish fans (including me!) and about 2 netherlands fans....XD And The food was REALLY good (especially the brownies). I got this really nice guy as a stand partner (he was really cute too XP). So our daily routine was:
7:00 Wake Up
7:30 Breakfast
8:00 Orchestra rehearsal
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Sectionals
3:30 Free time!
5:45 Dinner
6:45 Orchestra Rehearsal
8:30 Master class
10:00 Shower
10:45 Lights out
