River patrol (open)

Cloverpaw sat at the bank of the river, his long gray fur dripping water. He had just swam across from the island that RiverClan claimed as camp and was letting most of the excess water drip from his fur before he headed out on a patrol. He was hoping that while he was drying some other cats would join him; he figured at least someone would come along and want to join. The apprentice knew it was not very smart to go alone in case he did run into trouble, so he was going to wait for a while before giving up on his great day of patrolling. He stood up and shook himself to fling some of the water off, then sat back down and began grooming his fluffy tail.

ooc: He just left camp and swam over to the other side :-)

"Hey Seedpaw" the tom mewed, smiling at her. "A patrol is just what I'm looking for, but we should wait to see if some other cats want to join" he said, standing up and turning to face camp. He was a quiet tom and preferred to observe rather than make conversation so he just kept his eyes, ears, and nose open to any signs of someone leaving camp or in the area around them. He shook his head once more to get rid of some droplets that lingered on his whiskers, accidentally sending a few in Seedpaw's direction.
