May's Gathering 2016

Uncharacteristic icy winds blew through the empty clearing, it's rattling of the four Great Oak branches making a low thrumming noises as the bright green leaves barely managed to cling on. The moon was high and full, giving the grass an eerie silver glow, amongst the pitch black that was the starless sky. The space gave off a frightening feel, as if the five clans that were to gather tonight weren't the only ones attending.

Basic rules:
-All Dark forest converted cats really should attend (there's something in it for you)
-Try limit yourself to having three cats you want to RP the most attending
-Cats who are a part of the Whispers Plot should not be attending

Crowstar stood before the gathering clearing, his clan behind him. The wind causing the leader's fluffy pelt to sway with it. It was strange. The moon was out but not a single star in the sky. Something was going to happen. He couldn't tell what but something was in store for them. Maybe he should just take his clan home, and not attend tonight, but his clan would wondering what was going on, and he couldn't explain to them that they went home because of a feeling. No he would have to deal with it. The leader went into the clearing, being the first clan there, and then jumped on the rock. He didn't want to waste time here.

Ghostpelt padded in after her father. The fluffy silver tabby sat down and cast her fathers eyes around the clearing.

Robinflight padded in after her leader, her thick fur keeping only a bit of the icy feeling off of her.

Jayflight padded behind Crowstar, his blind, blue gaze beamed with mischief. He found a spot, the spot where he and Gentlenose had been at from the last gathering.

Next to arrive was Thrushstar. He had seen the sky and the lack of stars to guide them and he dreaded this gathering. He could feel it in his bones that something wasn't right but he couldn't break the code and not come. Not now, at least. The old leader padded into the clearing in silence, leaping onto the rock after noting that Skyclan was the only other clan there. This was odd. Normally they were the last. Giving a respectful nod at Crowstar's direction, the Shadowclan leader simply looked down as his own clan gathered underneath him.

Wildfang padded into the gathering. Windclan wasn't there and the tom felt a small pang. Hopefully they'd get there soon? He didn't want to admit it but he kinda wanted to see Spiderfur again. He padded over to the Skyclan cats and sat down.

Ghoulpaw padded in behind Wildfang and broke off. He took a seat further away from the cats and looked for any other apprentices to chat with.

Elkheart padded into the clearing and settled himself with a group of other Skyclan cats.

Viperfang trotted into the clearing at her usual brisk pace and settled herself at the edge of the clearing with one her kits, Speckledpaw.

Speckledpaw padded into the clearing and settled next to her mother.

How fortunate for Vixenpaw. Getting to go to a Gathering. Any other cat who wasn't chosen would've said she was fortunate at least. Yet for Vixenpaw, she wished she hadn't of been chosen at all. Too many cats were here, and even though they weren't all staring at her, they were just all...there. She sat with her Clan. At least they made her feel more comfortable.

Ferretshine smiled at the SkyClan cats as she followed her leader into the clearing. She watched some younger apprentices double-take at the hideous scar running down her face, but she paid no mind to it. She knew they were just curious and taken aback, and that there was no reason for hostility. Her bouncing gait continued as she looked around for a spot in the clearing to settle.

Briarheart padded in Finally a warrior at a gathering!

Fishstar entered Fourtrees moments after Thrushstar did, her Clan following closely behind her. The past moon had actually been quite a lively moon for RiverClan, so she could likely keep her speech short and sweet. As happy as she was with the prosperous moon she'd had and with Greenleaf just on the horizon, ever since she'd left camp, something had felt off. Had she forgotten something? Was there a storm coming? It certainly didn't seem like either of those worries could possibly be true, but nonetheless, something didn't feel right.

Leaping onto the Great Rock, the tabby she-cat dipped her head in Crowstar and Thrushstar's directions, and sat down.

Ravenpaw followed her father into Fourtrees and sat amongst the rest of the SkyClan rabble.

Wildheart had followed his leader and father into the gathering area nervous. Things seemed a bit tense, but hopefully, this gathering would help relieve some of the tenseness in the air between the clans. He took a spot next to his apprentice among the rest of SkyClan.

Toadpaw padded behind Fishstar, he sat down and waited for the gathering to start.

Antdrop padded into the clearing with his clan, looking around for Pebblethorn. He knew she was deputy, but he still wanted to chat with her so he wouldn't be alone. Giving a sigh, the black tom decided to go sit near the edge of the clearing, watching the cats enter. Where's Tinypaw? He noticed that his little brother wasn't here and couldn't believe that the small cat would miss out on a chance to meet more cats.

Mudfoot padded in with ShadowClan, looking around at the crowds of cats. New or old, he saw a lot of the same faces from the previous gathering. Per usual, he saw the leaders head to the tree and everyone mingled together. Glancing around, the charming tom looked for his mate, hoping to sit with her when the announcements started.
