Flashstorm sucked in a breath. It was getting nicer out every day, and he enjoyed that. Today the sky was clear blue with small hints of wispy white clouds. The sun bore down on the ground, not too hot either. Flashstorm sat down and waited for any cats to join him on a small hunting patrol.

Fawnpaw padded out of the apprentices den, approaching Flashstorm. "Are... Are you going on a... a patrol?" she asked timidly, always a bit shy around cats she didn't know well, especially warriors.
