Mistpaw quickly padded up beside Briarpaw, embarrassed that she was late. Nevertheless, she would be there for her brother. So many members of her family were gone. Even though Mistpaw wasn't the kindest cat, she had learned to appreciate family. "You'll make a great warrior," she whispered as Briarpaw stepped forwards. Sure, Mistpaw would be the last of her litter to be a warrior, but she wasn't the ambitious type. She would take her time and learn all she could before becoming a warrior. Today was Briarpaw's day to shine.

Thrushstar nodded in acknowledgement. "Then by the powers of Starclan I grant.. you your warrior name," he said. "Briarpaw, from now on, you will be known as Briarheart. We welcome... you as a full warrior of Shadowclan." With that, the leader leaped down to let the clan finish the ceremony.
