A Wish among the Thunder (open to TC only when Cloverpool gets back to camp)

Cloverpool was padding through the forest when she saw a little bundle of fur huddled up against the wind and rain.

The ginger bundle of fur was evident against the trees, wind, and rain. The shadowed figure of a taller cat was nuzzling the smaller bundle of fur, before seeing Cloverpool, and darting away. The tiny kit's mewl was drowned out by the roaring of the wind.

Cloverpool blinked and padded over to the little ginger bundle. She sniffed the kit and gently nudged it to make sure it was alive. When it moved the she cat gently curled herself around the kit, her long brown tortoiseshell fur covering it to keep it warm and shelter it from the rain and wind. She needed to find shelter for the little kit and fast. Getting up she picked the ginger bundle off the ground gently by the scruff and padded towards a tree with a hollow at the base of it. Cloverpool went inside and gently setting the kit down went to go and collect some moss for a nest to keep it warm, but for now it would be safe among the dried dead leave. Sheltered from the cold rain and the howling wind. When she returned with enough moss to make a small next she gently wove it into the appropriate shape and picked the kit up and placed her inside the nest alongside her. Curling her tail around the kit she began to warm it up by licking its fur the wrong way.

The small kit, once cold before, was now warm when her fur was being licked the wrong way. She stopped shivering, her eyes still shut. Thankfully, this cat had come to the small kits rescue when her original mother had left her out in the forest, alone.

Cloverpool purred as the young kit responded. The warrior was getting pretty old and it didn't make make it better that her mate was older than her by just a few moons maybe 4 or 5 moons older, and this cold weather was stiffening her joints but the warmth of the little hollow sheltered both of them from the cold and wetness of the storm outside. "Hmm.. your a pretty little kit aren't you. Do you have a name honey?" The brown tortiseshell she cat purred.

The kit didn't respond, she wasn't able to, she was too young. However, she didn't have a name. Her former rogue mother decided to let whoever found her name her.

Cloverpool purred and gently licked the kit. "Hmm.. you need a name... How about Wishkit? Yeah Wishkit, because I've been wishing for more kits. Let's get you back to the camp." The pretty brown tortoiseshell she cat purred and gently picked the kit up. She sheltered the small she kit in her chest fur as she carried the ginger bundle back to camp. Soaking wet Cloverpool padded into the barn and set the kit down, shaking out her fur she picked Wishkit up again and padded over to her nest.

The small kit let out a few tiny mewls, starting to shiver again.

Cloverpool pulled the kit closer to her, covering the kit into her belly. She had just given birth a few days ago but the kits were stillborn, so she still had plenty of milk left over. "Shh just drink up Wishkit" The warrior meowed gently licking the kit.

Wishkit stopped mewling, and began to suckle.

Cloverpool purred and gently licked Wishkit. "Your alright now. Nothing is going to harm you little one."

OOC: Okay so, where is this topic going to end up? It's kind of getting redundant to keep saying 'the kit felt warm and safe and stuff' Also, Wish is ready to become an app if you wanna make a timeskip past this topic.

IC: The kit continued to suckle, snuggling closer to her new ThunderClan mother. She was now a Clan cat, not a rogue, and she would probably never remember for actual rogue mother ever again.
