Cloudkit's Medicine Cat Apprentice Ceremony

Cloudkit stepped forward giddily, his heart was beating as fast as a bird's wings. He imagined ghostly cats in front of him, his image of Starclan, faceless. They were not scary, although he couldn't imagine who they were, he was sure that all kinds of cats could be found in the stars.

And now his name was Cloudpaw. The black cat bounded to the rock, feeling how cold it was as he got closer. Would his nose freeze to it if he touched it? Well, there was only one way to find out. Cloudpaw laid down to press his wet nose against the faintly glowing stone and was soon asleep.

Emberleaf waited as Cloudpaw touched the Moonstone, then he padded up next to the Riverclan cat and did the same, laying down beside Cloudpaw. Emberleaf's world soon dissolved into a sea of darkness, and when he opened his eyes he found himself in the same place he had been in when he entered into Starclan for Leafpaw's ceremony. The Dark Forest.

"Cloudpaw, we must leave now," Emberleaf suddenly whisper-yelled as he whipped around to face the black tom. He could already sense the Dark Forest cats drawing nearer, and soon Emberleaf knew they'd be chasing after himself and Cloudpaw. "This is not Starclan, we got taken into the wrong place." Where even was Starclan? Nervously, Emberleaf's gray eyes flicked around them, catching glimpses of other eyes glowing in the darkness of the forest before they disappeared, leaving him to wonder if he ever saw the eyes in the first place or if it were his imagination.
