| Any eligible character is allowed to participate in the Gathering. The leaders never actually handpick who gets to go because that's just completely unfair and, while I trust the current leaders not to be biased, it's a possibility. That, and they're probably too lazy to do that. Once the Gathering starts, wait for your leader or deputy to post before posting for that respective clan. After that, it's basically free-for-all.
