So I found a big bug. She's REALLY pretty but I have no idea what she is??? I know she's a moth but I can't find anything about her.

Warning: Really Big Moth:
She's about three inches long and has a wingspan of five, very fluffy. Hasn't moved from her spot since yesterday. In southeast Texas. Any ideas???

btw i named her Harriet

I think it's a Cecropia Silkmoth. It looks visually similar to one, at least. (Info On Them)

You're welcome! I'm a big fan of animals including bugs, so with a couple special research tricks they're easily findable. Hopefully you'll see Harriet again! They're native to that area cx .
