Open Patrol

Icestorm padded out of the warrior's den giving a yawn. With everything going on, the tom decided it was better safe than sorry, and the clan should stock up on food. Sitting in the silent clearing, he waited for the camp to stir and cats to wake up.

He was still getting used to waking up early in the morning but his mentor had spoke of a patrol tomorrow in the early dawn. Sagepaw had knew that patrols were important so he woke up and had padded over too his mentor greeting him with a nod of his head, not saying much because he still was pretty tired.

Maizepaw stretched as he exited the apprentice's den. His eyes were dusty with sleep and he had to blink a few times to get them to adjust to the light of dawn. "Hey, Icestorm," he meowed once he had walked over to the silver tabby. The tom held back a yawn and sat down, trying to make himself appear awake and ready to go. There was no time for slacking off if he wanted to prove to his clan that he was loyal to his very last breath. His yellow eyes trailed over to the other apprentice, whom he didn't really know. He gave him a nod, then waited as he groomed his fur.

Harepaw left the apprentice den, a goofy expression on his face. Pinedusk's death no longer bothered him as it did the morning after, he had met someone that had brightened up the place that the event left dark. The tom spotted Icestorm and went to greet him. "Hello Icestorm." 

Kestrelstorm was assigned to Icestorm's patrol with half the clan's apprentices. Exhausted, Kestrelstorm slugged up to the group of cats. He had been spending way too much time out of camp again.

"Good morning everyone." Icestorm meowed, looking at all the apprentices that woke up. He gave a curt nod to Kestrelstorm before getting up and giving a yawn. "Looks like all of you are here, let's get going, shall we?" Standing up, the tom started walking towards the camp entrance. The weather was perfect and he couldn't wait to train so many apprentices.

Finchpaw jumped out of the apprentices den "Can I come!"she yowled out of breath as she reached them "Please" she begged.

"Of course you can." He meowed to Finchpaw. "Come on, let's get moving."

Finchpaw calmed herself to see other apprentices, and Kesterelstorm one of her favorite warriors to hang out with. She gave them all a friendly smile and looked back at Icestorm padding behind him.
