Thou art shall explore thee's camp!

Flashkit had a rrived a few days ago into the camp,and his parents had left him. Now he was ready to explore. He ran out of the nursery and sat out of it. I wanna talk to someone,anyone!he thought. He stared around the cat in awe.These big cats are so cool!" he thought excitly.

"Um...hello." His voice was just barely a whisper, almost mistaken for a blow of the wind. Gingerkit, also a new kit, stood behind Flashkit and placed a paw on his back to tell him he was there. Usually, Gingerkit wouldn't of approached and greeted the stranger, but the queens had urged him to make a friend. "Escuse me? Um....escuse me. I am...um...Gingerkit. An....the queens told me to go an make a fwend an pway with them, so do you want to be my fwend?" 

Featherkit tumbled out of the nursery after the others, as energetic as ever. "Hey guys!" she meowed. "What's going on? D'ya wanna play a game together?" Featherkit had been cooped up in that crowded nursery for forever. It was high time her mother let her out to play with the other kits!

Flashkit jumped."Sure,I'l be your freind,and I wanna play a game!" He turned to Featherkit. "Do you havve a game we can play?"

Thinstripe padded into camp, she had been hunting out in the forest and only brought a rabbit or two. Even though new-leaf was here the prey was still a bit scarce and some lakes overflowed from all the snow. Thinstripe dropped her kill in the fresh-kill pile soon noticing three kits. She padded over, Thinstripe loved meeting new kits but only the ones that actually wanted to see her. She stayed standing up and not laying down, she felt more comfortable that way. Thinstripe purred "Hello young ones, is it your first time out of the nursery?" she asked kindly.

Gingerkit turned around as a voice came from behind him. It was a she-kit who had spoken, and Gingerkit recognized her as Featherkit. He had heard her name in the nursery a few times and seen her around, so he knew who she was. "Um...sure, I would like to pway a game." He gave a small smile, then turned back around as a warrior came over and greeted them. "Hi," he said shyly. "Y...yeah, it's my first time out in camp. We were going to pway a game, d...do you wanna pway with us?"

Thinatripe nodded "I guess, but I'll try not to win" she joked "What is it?"

"We could-" Featherkit began to reply to Flashkit. But suddenly, one of the warriors began to walk towards them. "Hello young ones, is it your first time out of the nursery?" the she-cat asked. Then before she knew it, Gingerkit had invited the older cat to play with them and she had said yes! "How about we play catch the prey?" Featherkit suggested, her eyes drifting towards Thinstripe's tail. Then, as fast as she could, she hurled herself towards its invitingly-twitching tip.

Thinstripe smiled and laughed a bit "I'm no prey" she mewed in a friendly tone, she move her tail and tried to see how fast and easily the kit could catch it.

Flashkit waited impatirntly, awnted to play his tur. He watched the game, and look at Featherkit's tatics. He cou.ld build off that when it was his turn to play.

Gingerkit watched as Featherkit chased after Thinstripe's tail. Excitement filled his eyes and he crouched down. "I wanna pway," he said as he traced the tail's movements with his gaze.

"Ok I think its time for Flashkit to play then Gingerkit and back to you" she mewed looking at the other two kits.

As Thinstripe flicked her tail aside, Featherkit skidded past. However, she crouched to widen her center of weight and used her momentum to spin around as she slid. Coming back for a second try, she narrowly missed. "C'mon guys!" Featherkit panted to the other kits, her eyes sparkling mischievously. "Help me catch the mouse!"

Flashkit jumped swiping at the tail with his paw. He misssed and nearly fell down. He balence himself, and hit the tail by a hair the second time. "I got it!" he shouted.

Thinstripe stood up and began to slowly run around the kits "Can you catch the mouse now!" she mewed now running around the kits.
