Some of you may have known about my boyfriend is in the Navy. He left for the bootcamp about a month ago, and I've been questioning everything since he hadn't sent anything or called. But today! He called me! And I am so happy. He's been working really hard. And he's soooooo tired. But I am still really proud of him. And he chose his first phone call time to be for me! All of it! And hevs sent me two letters, but they just haven't gotten here yet. I'm just really happy 😊

He is enlisted, meaning he signed up himself. Hevs in the Navy, and he isn't deployed yet. Right now he's in Great Lakes, IL for basic bootcamp and then the specialty academy. However, when he gets to the specialty academy (He graduates bootcamp on April 29) he will be trained as a Gunner's Mate. A GM is the guy that runs back and forth from gunners during fire fights to give them ammo and first aid kits. During peace time he cleans, cares, and tests the ship's guns.

Needless to say I'll feel very safe when he gets home and I'll have a boyfriend with a six pack! ^_^
