Silverkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Sablestar hopped onto the Tallrock. "Let all those cats old enough to catch their own prey join here beneath the Tallrock for a Clan meeting!"

Silverkit padded out of the nursery, somewhat nervously. However, she was excited too!

Lightfoot heard Sablestar's clan summons and took a seat at the side of the clearing, watching with happiness as Silverkit padded from the nursery. He loved ceremonies, especially for new apprentices. He was sure that Silverkit would make an excellent warrior in the future.

Palepaw wandered outside to watch his best friend become an apprentice. He gave her a careful smile.

"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Sablestar began. "Silverkit, from tonight until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Silverpaw. Lightfoot will be your mentor." Sablestar hopped down from the Tallrock and joined in the chanting.
