Dried up lake

Lakesong hadn't eaten in days, and he didn't want to. His mentor, and mate, Thinstripe was dead, drowned in the River by who knows what. So the big fluffy light brown tabby tom decided he wasn't going to live anymore. So he padded to snakerocks, where his mother had died. He waited until he saw an adder and then he hissed and padded towards it. The adder turned and hissed back. It coiled up and Lakesong sprung up, but so did the adder. The adder bit Lakesong and the big tom was dead in minuets.
