Show me around the camp

Dandelionkit waited at the edge of the nursery, and stared at the steady stream of warriors coming to and from the camp. She wanted a cat to show her around, but was afraid to ask.

Thinstripe had been outside the warriors den looking at Dandelionkit with a gentle gaze, she trotted over and sat down next to her "Hey, I'm Thinstripe"

Dandelionkit looked up in surprise. She knew that since she was an orphan and had been found and taken in by ThunderClan, most of the cats didn't trust her. "Hi," she mewed shyly. Gathering her courage, she added, "Will you please show me around the camp?"

Thinstripe smiled "of course!" she mewed cheerfully "So where do you want to look first?"

Dandelionkit bounced on her paws, excited that for once a cat was being friendly to her. "I'd like to see the apprentice's den, first! That's where I'll be going in a few moons!

Thinstripe nodded "Alright" she loved showing kits around camp it was fun, she trotted over to the apprentices den and sat down "This is where all the apprentices sleep which I'm pretty sure you already know, their training to become strong warriors of the clan"

Dreamleaf sat outside the Medicine Cat Den, watching Thinstripe show Dandelionkit around. A smile grew on her face.

Dandelionkit sniffed at the apprentice's bedding and then realized that another cat was looking at her with a kindness. "Who's that", she mewed to Thinstripe.

Thinstripe purred "That's the medicine cat, she helps all the cats that are injured"

"Will you introduce her to me?" Meowed Dandelionkit. Now that she had realized there were friendly cats in the ThunderClan camp, she was less shy and wanted to meet more cats.

"of course!" she trotted over to Dreamleaf and dipped her head "Dandelionkit this is Dreamleaf, she is the medicine cat"

"Hi" squeaked Dandelionkit. "How do you like being the medicine cat? It must be awful hard caring for all these cats!"

Dreamleaf looked down at Dandelionkit. She smiled slightly.
"It's actually not all that hard. I was born for this job, and I love helping my clanmates," Dreamleaf replied.

"That's cool", mewed Dandelionkit. She turned to Thinstripe and asked, "Can we see the elders den down?"

Thinstripe's whiskers twitched with amusement, she smiled and looked back at Dandelionkit she nodded. She got up and trotted over "Try not to wake some of them, they can get cranky if you do" her eyes gleamed with amusement as she spoke
