Pondering a Warning OPEN

Dreamleaf sat outside the Medicine Cat den, her head raised towards the dimming sky. Her amber eyes scanned the orangish sky that was dotted with gray clouds. She could sense the storm rolling in as the clouds, very slowly, rolled together. The sky dimmed more as the sun sank below the camp walls and she was left staring at the stars that were beginning to appear. Dreamleaf frowned as she remembered her last encounter with Starclan at the Moonstone. Something was coming, something that even Starclan couldn't stop perhaps. Dreamleaf looked down slowly and at the camp and closed her eyes. It was weird being in the Medicine Cat Den alone these days. Dreamleaf turned her head toward the Leader's den and sighed.

Thinpaw saw Dreamleaf sitting in front of her den and trotted over "What's wrong?" she asked worried

As soon as Moonpaw heard Thinpaw ask Dreamleaf what was wrong her head popped out and she went over to her best friend, they were like sisters so when one had a problem they would go to each other about it. "Dreamleaf? What's wrong? You ok?" The pure white she cat meowed blinking her pale icy blue eye and her light green eye. She sat down next to Thinpaw and gave Dreamleaf a spill it ill help you out look. The warrior aged and sized she cat smiled reassuringly at her best friend.

The Medicine Cat looked at the two apprentices. She shook her head slightly to shake herself out of her thoughts.
"Just fine, I guess. Just a lot going on," Dreamleaf replied.

Thinpaw looked at her curiously and licked her paw, "I know your a medicine cat" she mewed "Somethings wrong I'm guessing" she gave her a worried face and looked back and continued licking her paws

"Whats wrong Dreamleaf? I know you to well for you to say theres nothing wrong, so spill whats wrong?" Moonpaw meowed concern laced in her voice for her very best friend. Dreamleaf may be older by two moons but they grew up together, she had even confided her weirdest dreams, and Dreamleaf was the only cat she told that she loved Deadpaw. To her Dreamleaf was the perfect friend no matter what they went though they would always be close to one another.

Thinpaw nodded "Please tell us" she mewed I wonder if she got a warning from StarClan in a dream she thought, "Did StarClan tell you something?" she asked looking curios and concerned

Dreamleaf sighed.
"As a Medicine Cat, I make a vow to Starclan that I cannot relay their messages to Starclan... I guess all I can tell you is that there is something dangerous that our ancestors are trying to tell us about," Dreamleaf murmured quietly and her gaze traveled over the two apprentices.

Thinpaw felt a small shiver run down her back "Is a storm coming or a attack or what, what did they tell you?" she was getting worried about Dreamleaf and her dream with StarClan

"Oh Dreamleaf!! Oh my poor sister, why must Starclan be so cruel to give our poor hard working medicine cat a prophecy that she cant share with anyone? Cant you tell Spottedstar?" Moonpaw meowed and pressed her nose into her best friends fur.

Dreamleaf's shoulders slumped and frowned.
"I have talked to the other Medicine Cats, they all received the same dream," Dreamleaf murmured. She could tell her two greatest friends just a small bit, just enough to make them less curious,"It was a forest. Not Starclan, or anything from the clan territories. It was frightening and dark."

Thinpaw was picturing the forest and all its darkness "Was it the- nevermind-" she kept picturing it as she listened to Dreamleaf

Nightfire looked over from his spot, which was oddly the rock that Specklefur lay before her death. Dreamleaf was troubled, and she mentioned Starclan. His first thought was to demand why they hadn't spoken to him, but he realized that he broke that bond himself to be a warrior. He was content, but a part of him would always miss the herbs. He stared at the she-cat, hoping she would notice. She could always talk to him if needed.

Dreamleaf's eyes travelled away from the apprentices and they froze on Nightfire. Dreamleaf looked at Thinpaw and Moonpaw and ducked her head.
"Give me a second, my friends... I need to speak to Nightfire," Dreamleaf whispered and she rose from her spot. The fluffy calico she-cat padded over to Nightfire and stopped in front of him. She bowed her head to him and looked up.
"Nightifre... I feel you are one of the only cats I can confide into. Mostly since you were originally the Medicine Cat... maybe you can help me with this warning that Starclan sent me," Dreamleaf murmured. Her voice was edged with desperation.

Staring as his former apprentice came towards him, he stared with his dual colored eyes. "You know I am only a warrior to Starclan now? But if you are only comfortable with me, that is fine. I'm sure Starclan wont mind."
