Hail and Quail's Introduction(Closed for everyone in the abandonded barn)

A fluffy light stormy gray tom with startling electric blue eyes, and a pale cream she cat with bright green eyes took shelter under a bush from the storm. They were only resting a bit, and after losing Flame to pneumonia they couldn't any chances, they were tired, wet, hungry, and injured, and if Blaze or Echo wasn't here then they would go back to sunset place. Fearing the worst if they slept, they licked their sore pads free of blood from walking along the harsh Twoleg paths. Their fur was matted with blood and twigs and leaves, and slick with rain. Taking a deep breath they once again braved the storm, and as the wind picked up, so did the rain. Lightning flashed over head and they stumbled towards a small barn, its opening only slightly open. "C'mon! We can make it, just a little longer!" The gray tom tried to shout over the thunder and the rain but it sounded faint. The she cat only nodded and followed. They burst into the barn, wet, cold, hungry, tired, and injured, not expecting any cats to live here. Their senses were clogged up from the rain, and they saw some hay next to them so they decided to dry off. They froze hearing paw steps.

Juno, a Siamese she cat, had been resting in the hayloft. She was comforted by the sound of rain pounding outside the barn. Though her ears pricked as she heard voices. It hadn't been that long ago that she lost Echo as well and she was often quiet sometimes angry though right now she was curious even if her fur bristled a bit. She padded over to the two "what brings you here?"She mewed no hostility in her voice.

Quail jumped and hail stood protectively in front of his sister, his startling electric blue eyes glowing in the darkness, and as the rain continued to beat on the roof of the abandoned barn, lightning flashed and illuminated the fluffy light stormy gray tom ad his half dried fur. "Well the storm of course, that and were looking for Blaze and Echo, we were told to meet here a couple of moons after we escaped the dogs. It was originally our plan if we survived. Alas my little nephew Flame died of pneumonia after we couldn't properly get dry for a few moons. I'm Hail and this is my sister Quail." The tom meowed glancing at his sister.

Quail nodded. "Yes i'm really miss my daughter Echo and my dead son Flame and my mate Blaze. Where are they?" The pale cream she cat meowed blinking her bright green eyes.

"Blaze....a..and Echo"She paused forcing tears away they passed away "She said quietly flicking her tail sadness edged the she Cat's features.

Hail froze. "Dead? How did they die?" The toms voice chocked with emotion.

Quail felt tears come to her eyes and she let them fall. "Oh my poor poor Echo and Blaze!" She meowed bowing her head. First, Flame, and now Echo and Blaze. Who was next?

"I'm sorry I'm not sure how Echo died " Juno mewed quietly.

Hail bowed his head and nodded. "Thanks. Uh we heard there was a rouge clan can we speak to the leader about that."

Quail shivvered and pressed herself to her brother.

"Sure though I'm not sure where his is at the moment.."She mewed flicking her tail."my name is Juno by the way " She mewed.
