Fracturedpaw's Training

"Fracturedpaw, time to get up! We've got some training to do!" Thrushstar called into the apprentice's den before getting up and walking to the clearing to wait for the appretnice.

Fracturedpaw blinked open her eyes hearing the leader's words. She padded from the apprentice den and shook her fur out quietly. She looked to Thrushstar and padded over.

"Ready?" When she arrived, he stood up once more and walked out of the camp, expecting her to follow. It didn't take them long to cross the territory and find the first border which just happened to be the Thunderpath. "Here is our first stop. This is the Thunderpath. It is our border with Thunderclan and Windclan. It is also very dangerous. Be careful here. Monsters run on this path day and night and will not stop if you get in their way."

Fracturedpaw looked at him quietly and followed quietly and quickly. She listened as he spoke and nodded quietly"ok got it " She mewed quietly.

"Good." It was quick but it was meaningful. Moving along to the next border, he stopped as the territory changed from thick mud to hard rock-covered ground. Trees stretched high into the sky, almost touching the clouds above that blocked the stars. "Here is Highpine. This is our border with Skyclan. Well, it was. Windclan is still here at the moment, but I hope to change that soon."

Fracturedpaw followed quietly giving a small nod keeping up as best she could. She gave a small nod quietly looking the the border and looked up at the trees breifly before to Thrushstar.

OOC: sorry if this is a bit rushed cx we can pace it a little more if you want. I just figured we could kinda breeze through it while still covering the basics.

When Fractured paw looked up at Thrushstar looking like she was waiting patiently, he turned and proceeded to the final border. It was an interesting one with a fence that towered over them, keeping the twoleg trash trapped on the other side. As the two arrived, they were overcome with a horrible smell. "Our final stop. This is Carrionplace. On this border, we simply have to keep an eye on the rats that live here. While they sound tasty, they are filled with disease, so never ever hunt here. Understand?" he asked. He'd already seen a disease ridden Shadowclan once from hunting rats. He didn't want to see it happen again.

Ic: Fracturedpaw followed quietly before she blinked and caught the horrible smell of Carrionplace. Her face twisted up in disgust"eww "She mewed " it smells horrid " She mewed.

"Always is. Twolegs dump their leftovers here. It's been this way for a long time." He frowned but continued anyway. Turning around, he padded back into the territory, getting away from the horrible Carrionplace. "Now that that's over, would you like to do some hunting?" he asked, looking up at the sky to see the moon just reaching the middle of the sky. They had plenty of time.

Fracturedpaw followed eagerly after Thrushstar to get away from the horrible smell of Carrionplace. At the mention of hunting she nodded breifly" Sure " She mewed smiling a bit.

With a quick nod, Thrushstar smiled slightly. "Good! We can improve your skills a little bit." [Within a twenty minute montage, Thrushstar showed Fracturedpaw how to stand, pounce and catch prey in hopes that she understood and could do it herself.] "Now why don't you try to hunt? Tell me, what can you smell?" He asked. He had already made sure that there was prey in the area which was a rarity in the middle of leafbare but good. A frog was not too far away sitting in a puddle that had not quite frozen over in the cold temperatures.

Fracturedpaw had paid attention silently taking everything in and when he asked her what she smelled she scented the air quietly catching the scent of a frog and she mewed" I smell frog not that far away"

"You've got it. Can you catch it?" he asked, watching her patiently to make sure she did everything right.

Fracturedpaw nodded quietly. She was determined to do her best. Quietly she moved towards the frog keeping in mind was she was shown only moments before before she pounced catching the frog with some trouble but she had caught it.

"Good job!" Thrushstar said, impressed by her skill already. "Can you tell me if there is anything else in the area?" Surprisingly, a bird had just landed not too far off from where they stood, so the leader kept his voice low. This one was going to be a hard catch, and he wasn't expecting much, but he wanted her to at least try.
