Viperkit and Amberkit's Apprentice Ceremonies

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Amberkit knew his time was here, 'I'm going to be an apprentice, i'm going to be strong like everyone else' He thought to himself as he walked up to the Jaggedrock for his apprentice ceremony.

Dunepaw walked with Barkpaw, and sat next to the Warrior's den, watching the ceremony begin. Im so happy for him! thought dunepaw.

Viperkit heard her leader call the clan for a meeting. She was ready to become an apprentice. She stood up and slithered her way out of the nursery and sat down next to Amberkit, with her tail wrapped around her paws very neatly. She groomed her chest fur, wanting to look good for her new mentor.

Shimmerheart watched proudly as her daughter became an apprentice. She didn't want to be "that queen" and embarrass her kit, so she watched happily from the nursery.

"Tonight we gather to make these kits apprentices," Thrushstar said, looking down at them. "Viperkit and Amberkit, from now until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Viperpaw and Amberpaw. Viperpaw, your mentor is Leopardfang. Amberpaw, your mentor is Mudfoot. May they teach you everything that they know." With that, the leader leaped down to let the clan finish the ceremony.

OOC: isn't Leopardfang Viperpaw's father? Is that okay? And shortness

IC: Viperpaw nodded her head excitedly.

Shimmerheart watched happily. She was glad to know that the one cat she trusted above all would mentor her daughter. "Viperpaw! Viperpaw!"

Amberpaw shot up with excitement now that he was an apprentice and went over to greet his new mentor, Mudfoot.

Viperpaw saw Amberpaw pelt over to her new mentor faster than a rabbit. Viperpaw decided why not and went over to her mentor and touched noses with him. "Don't think that I'll go easy on you just because you're my father." she said maliciously.

Mudfoot's ears perked up when he heard his name. Another apprentice? That's great! He happily touched noses with Amberpaw. "I can't wait to start training with you." The charming tom meowed.

Amberpaw felt warm inside as he heard those words, "I can't wait to become a strong warrior like you." He purred loudly with excitement and joy

Leopardfang padded coolly into the open space, his nose meeting his youngest daughter's. "I'd be more concerned for yourself, young one." He meowed, more amused than anything. He traded a glance with Shimmerheart before glancing at the medicine cat's den, where Tigerkit watched with jealousy burning in her green eyes.
