Ivypaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting!" Fishstar yowled.

Ivypaw came out of the apprentice den for the ceremony seriously.

"Ivypaw, please step forward," Fishstar said.

Ivypaw stepped forward, with intent.

"I, Fishstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Ivypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" The leader looked to the she-cat.

"I do." The she-cat said, solemnly.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Ivypaw, from this day forth, you shall be known as Ivyfall. RiverClan honours your determination and loyalty." She leapt off of the willow branch to congratulate her.

Ivypaw nodded, accepting her new warrior name and embracing her role as a RiverClan warrior.
