A Secret Meeting of Misty & Jay

Suddenly,Jaybirds ears pricked. He smelled something foul. He immediately jumped up and hissed. "You have to go." he meowed.

Mistyriver looked supprised, then suddenly mewed, "wha- why? what is it?"

Jaybird stared back at her wistfully,then spoke. "Dogs..." he meowed.

Mistyrivers eyes where filled with fear, "Jaybird... i can't just leave." then added quietly, "i would rather die by your side, then see you die alone."

Jaybird smiled. "Ok. I scent about 2 of them. Do you have any battle training?" he meowed.

"Great!" he meowed. "You can first lead them out of the Fourtrees,and I'll be in a tree. When they come under me,I will pounce on one and while the other is confused,you pounce on the other." He could hear them coming closer. He quickly licked Mistyriver's cheek and darted up one of the Four trees

Mistyriver nodded. the dogs entered fourtrees, and mistyriver turned and led them to the tree Jaybird was in.

Swiftly,Jaybird yowled and landed on the back of one of the dogs,who was howling loudly. He raked his claws across it's spine as he tried to hold on. He then realized that these dogs were not the biggest he'd seen,so this might be easier than he thought...
Bad move,he was thrown into a tree,but got up pretty fast.

Mistyriver Jumped onto the other dog, confused by all that was going on. "jaybird!" she cried. Mistyriver bit the dog, but was almost thrown off

Jaybird laughed. "I still am not done yet you mouse-brain dog!" he yelled and charged at the dog,upper cutting him up the neck,stunning him.

The dog jumped and Mistyriver was thrown off with a thud, but she quickly caught her breath and jumped at the dog again, this time biting it's neck

Jaybird glanced at Mistyriver to find her already up from the fall,and finished the dog with a last rake across the belly. It yelped and scurried off.

Mistyriver Swiped the last dog across the face. it jumped back and yelped. Misytyriver hissed and it ran off.

Jaybird laughed. "You are pretty good," he said,with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "For a medicine cat."
