Self Training?

Nightpaw wanted to fight something. He walked out of camp. He would catch a mouse or two. He saw a bush and decided to attack that. First, he jumped up on it and raked his back claws on it.

Nightpaw used Belly Rake on Bush. Dealing 15 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Then, Nightpaw jumped off and sliced at the bush with claws unsheathed.

Nightpaw used Front Paw Strike on Bush. Dealing 14 damage and costing 10 stamina

Again, it has no stamina

Finally, Nightpaw backed up, then ran and tackled the bush.

Nightpaw shook his fur and paws to get the leaves off. He walked away and opened his mouth to taste the air. Soon, he scented mouse. He crouched down and stalked along the scent trail. When he found it nibbling some food, he stayed down, then sprang. He got it squirming under his paw. He snapped its neck with a quick bite. He set it down and licked his paw.

Mudpaw watched the apprentice from a few fox lengths away. "Is bush hunting a new thing I didn't know about?" The handsome tom said with a smile. His warrior ceremony was due and he wondered when the day would come.

Nightpaw rolled his brown eyes. "I wanted to attack something. I can't just find some mouse-brained enemy wandering around ShadowClan territory." he meowed.

"No need to get snappy about it. I just never thought someone would want to attack some something so badly." The tom chuckled. His tail swayed back and forth in the breeze.

I just like to attack stuff, okay.    "And I never thought someone was watching me." Nightpaw meowed softly.

"Well, watching is a good way of learning. It probably sounds weird, but for example. If you're in a battle...lets say against RiverClan. You would want to watch them, to learn their tactics and strategies." Mudpaw said kindly. "Same thing goes with hunting. I find it so much easier to hunt, when I know how they prey acts."

Nightpaw would tell Mudpaw he knew how RiverClan cats act, but Mudpaw would most likely ask how, and it could give away his secret friendship with a RiverClan cat if he tried to explain. "I didn't know that." he simply said.

"Well, it's ok. And who knows. Maybe I will learn something about bush attacking." He said teasingly, but not in a offensive way.

Nightpaw chuckled. He knew Mudpaw was just teasing. "Could you please get over me attacking a bush?" he giggled

"Of course. I'm sorry." Mudpaw gave a relaxed sigh, enjoying the breeze.
