A Newcomer

Marshkit, laid in the nursery, the Tom was bored, and had no real plans. He rolled on his back, letting out a loud dramatic sigh, his eyes locked on the ceiling of the den, the small kit raised his paws over his head and covered his eyes. He rolled back onto to his belly, and looked around the nursery, it was dark and damp, but warm and quiet. The brown tabby, stood up he quickly dusted his pelt, and walked towards the entrance of the nursery.

But before he could leave, she leapt for the entrance and said playfully, "No escape!" Her whisker twitched, but her eyes narrowed dramatically. Not because she was aggressive, rather that it was hard to see in the dark light. "Please tell me your name, and what you are currently up to." She ordered him, but she was joking.

Marshkit, fur pricked up briefly, the she-cat surprised him. A small confused smile crossed across his face, "Marshkit, yours?" He asked, he stood up, his tail flickering around. He looked towards the entrance, as if he was admitting to escape.

"Frogkit..." She mumbled shyly. "Hi, Marshkit. Nice to meet you." Frogkit purred. She blinked slowly, examining the newest kitten. Interesting! She thought once she'd finished. "What're you up to, Marsh?" She had forgotten to add kit! "...kit..."

Marshkit focused his attention back to the she-cat, giving her another smile "Nice name, you can just call me Marsh" he looked around before looking back to Frogkit " I was going to look around the camp.".
