Duskpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Duskpaw strode out with an air of confidence, being a size of a warrior in a apprentice den wasn't the best feeling, or comfort. Sitting down close to the rock he looked up to Thrushstar with a sneer.

"Tonight we gather to make this apprentice a warrior," Thrushstar said. "Duskpaw, please step forward."

Duskpaw, having seen these ceremonies over and over stepped forwards, grinning as he angled his nose up in pride. Bouncing on his feet as he lost his cool demeanor the words 'I do' on the tip of his tongue.

Looking down at the apprentice, Thrushstar continued. "Duskpaw, do you promise to serve and protect this clan as well as uphold the warrior code, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!" He chirped rather excitedly before clearing his throat and collecting his joyful emotions, his heart feeling like it would burst from how excited it was.

"Then by the powers of Starclan, I grant you your warrior name. Duskpaw from now on you will be known as Duskfur. We welcome you as a full warrior of Shadowclan," Thrushstar said before leaping down to let the rest of the clan finish the ceremony.
