Pinekit, Ravenkit, Sagekit, & Stormkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather beneath High Rock for a clan meeting!" Duskfall yowled for the clan to gather so an apprentice ceremony could be held of Minnowtail and Viperfang's litter, and of course, little Ravenkit.

Pinekit walked to the high rock and sat down, his chest was puffed out and he stood tall

Stormkit padded from the nursery and sat down next to Pinekit. He knew this day was important. He was also excited though he forced himself to stay calm.

Viperfang joined his kits in the clearing, licking them quickly once on any tufts of fur that stuck up and caught his attention. "Excited?" He asked his sons, sitting next to them and twining his tail against them.

OOC: I like how you said 'little Ravenkit'. Cute.

IC: It was plenty early for him to be up, but anything to get away from that rotten stench! So he did what everyone else did, because he really didn't know what to do! As an addition, little Ravenkit wasn't sure of 1) how ceremonies worked 2) and what they were for. He shrugged at his thoughts. He then sat down where the cool morning sunlight helped to warm up his black fur, especially that it was cold out now.

"Yes!" Said Pinekit excitedly, he looked over at the apprentices den and imagined himself to be there, It was easy to imagine that, him with all his siblings!

"Definately," Stormkit mewed. He felt like he could explode with excitement any second.

Sagekit padded out after her brother. She took a seat next to Stormkit.

Bluesong sat down and watched the ceremony with blue eyes.

"Pinekit, Ravenkit, Sagekit, and Stormkit, step forward." The deputy called out to the kits who were gathered, his green eyes looking kindly at each of them. He was glad to see most of them looked excited. "Pinekit, Ravenkit, Sagekit, and Stormkit, you've all reached the age of six moons, and it's time for you all to be apprenticed. From this day onwards until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Pinepaw, Ravenpaw, Sagepaw, and Stormpaw. Your mentors will be Frozenflame, Sweetsong, Sunpelt, and Fawnwillow, respectively. These are all warriors who have mentored before and proven themselves true ThunderClan cats. They will teach all that they know to you, and guide you well."

Sandpaw padded over to Sunpelt and touched noses with her grandfather.

Frozenflame was surprised to hear his name called. He already had an apprentice, but the warrior was easily able to handle two. "Congratulations, Pinepaw," the tom purred as he stepped up to touch noses with him. "I will do my best to teach you as well as possible."

Stormpaw padded over to his mentor to touch noses.

Pinepaw reached forwards and touched noses with frozenflame, I wonder what we are going to do first! thought Pinepaw

Sunpelt smiled and leaned down to touch Sagepaw's nose. "Congratulations!" he purred to his granddaughter.
